I beat Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance twice and I was still 100% sure that Janaff was a GIRL. A pretty one, at that. Just look at this guy. The fact that he was always right next to Tibarn the Manly and Ulki McManlypants didn't help the matter either.
I discovered the truth when I was browsing TV Tropes the other day where someone called Janaff "man-moe". That was a huge "Wait, what?"-moment for me. Further investigations confirmed that Janaff really was a guy. The people at the tavern were supposed to be bird laguz, but after drawing wings on Janaff I decided that I am not going to draw wings on anyone unless I really have to. The guy still has pointy ears so, uh, I guess he's a dragon laguz? I don't even know. Anyway, I figured that being as pretty as Janaff must suck because everyone thinks you're a girl. So yeah. Janaff grows a moustache. Ulki approves. And why didn't anyone tell me that Ulki is so much fun to draw? I think I need to come up with an excuse to draw him again. |
